Melanie Sloan is an attorney, lobbyist, political consultant, and former founding executive director of the agitation group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW). Sloan has worked for Democratic members of Congress and is involved in a number of center-left organizations. She serves as a senior adviser to the litigation nonprofit American Oversight and on the advisory board of the watchdog litigation group Restore Public Trust. Sloan is the founder and partner of Summer Strategies, a Democratic consulting firm.
